Today i was thinking about Christianity, and how its a self promoting religion. I would guess the root of the religion is “Do Right”. Christians try to promote what they believe kinda like one would sell concert tickets. They go around the world promoting the teachings of Jesus to those who don’t know about it. Yet, while they are promoting they are not doing any good. While you are at church sharing the thought about going good, praying about doing good, telling others about doing good your are missing the point. Instead of sharing and praying, BE THE GOOD. Its not a hard thing to know what the right choices of life are. They are so caught up in trying to be good that being good isn’t the main priority. Why cant we just think about other people naturally instead of having the lingering sense of impending doom over our heads if we do something “bad”. The idea of “If i do something bad i will go to hell” needs to change to “if i do something bad i am going to harm a fellow human being”. Its selfish. Religion is selfish.
